Wow!  What a fantastic beach night last Tuesday.  Was there ever a more perfect beach night?  OK, the ocean could have been warmer. We will get that fixed.

Make sure Saturday, July 16th, is on your calendars! Everything is shaping up for a great picnic/party! Please help fund the FIREWORKS! It is worth it (see Biller or Pete). For the picnic, I supply the burgers, dogs, and some beverages. Everyone else brings all the other great food which is what makes the day’s feast fantastic.

Next game, Tuesday evening, June 28th at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.

FIREWORKS!
The fireworks fund has begun for our July 16th beach bash.
Please contribute (see Pete or Biller)!
We have benefited from a couple people putting up $100 or more.
Let’s spread it around and have many more $10 / $20 / $50 contributions.
Fred gets us a great deal. It is up to us to fund a great show!

Cool night forecast a week ahead of time… read “good running weather”.
Will we be able to top the pinnie team’s play-of-the-night where they earned a standing ovation from the folks on the sideline? As the pinnies worked their way down towards the endzone, the latency between tosses approached zero. At one point, one of the zings went to Deana who didn’t quite hold onto it. The ‘bee sped on and I think it was Matt who reacted quickly and grabbed it. Deana appeared to be clapping at his catch. Thus, when Matt instantly sent it back to Deana, she caught it mid clap, to her surprise. A few more quick zing, zing, zings and the point was scored! The sideline was the best place to be for that drive, and, we all applauded and leaped to our feet.

The weather vane is pointing towards the field where we will have great running weather.

A thorough poll of last week’s players says the “2-team swap after 3 points” is a winner. “3 point games” means you can play hard the whole mini-game.
