Playing in a blizzard would be a blast. 35 degree rain.. not so much. How about playing on a field of slush, in pouring rain, with the temperature at 35 degrees? It’s hard to resist the temptation!

However, driving in such a storm is to be avoided. Thus, “core BoD” have unanimously decided it is best to cancel Tuesday, Dec 2nd’s game.

Saturday, Nov 29 at 11am at Parker Middle School turf field in Reading, MA.

Many of our group participate in this ritual as well as their summer Friday Evening ultimate games. Expect a crowd (i.e. a lot of subs). The group is very friendly, and it has a wide range of talent. See you there!

Yes, we will keep playing, so long as we have the numbers. So far, so great.

Compared to the last two Tuesdays, our next game will feel balmy. Bring your hydration and sweat bands. See you all Tuesday Nov 25th at the Tewksbury field at 6pm.

Good turnout for last week’s windblown game. We had a hilarious time as the disc went up/down/up/down/hit-the-hands/lands-on-the-ground. After that wind and low temps, we’ll be able to play through any winter weather. Just kidding, but we will keep playing until about when the ground freezes solid.

Big Near-End-of-Season Party Tuesday evening Oct 21st, 6pm to 9, at Tinu and Nipa’s house

This is one of those “Do not miss” parties.

Food will be potluck. Plan on bringing your best dish to share. Tinu will probably have a grill going. Bob will probably bring shrimp (I hope).

Park on the grass on the left as you enter the single lane driveway, and park on either side of Boston Street in front of the house. Overflow parking is on Old Cart Way (south of house) which is only a 2-minute walk from the house. 

Tinu plans to take the afternoon off from work, to take time setting up for the party, and frankly, to enjoy the nice weather expected. Folks are welcome early, and we can throw the frisbee around, shoot baskets, and play ping pong (indoors). Send Tinu a text if any questions 978-764-8751.

If you happen to be receiving an award, you cannot get it without a presence at the party… with the exception of the “No Show Loser” Award. Note, many awards tend to be fairly randomly awarded. For many, we’ll take nominations from the floor, debate, and live vote them. Good luck with that.

We will play our weekly ultimate game on Wednesday, Oct 22nd at the Tewksbury field at 6pm.

Our Almost the End of Season Party is on Tuesday, Oct 21st.
Drum roll. Tinu and Nipa will host the event! This is pot luck. Whip up something special! We will feast. More details will follow.

We will  be voting on who has earned many of the Awards… including  “My Favorite Play of the Year”.  Think back, so we can honor those who made us go “wow”.

Next Tuesday, Oct 14th, is our Championship Game. Be sure to make that one.

In 2 Tuesday’s, Oct 21st, you must not miss our Almost the End of Season Party. This is a potluck which does not disappoint. Plus our season’s Award Ceremony (Yes, please send/tell me your nominations). We will probably play ultimate the following Wednesday, Oct 22nd, at the Tewksbury field.
