Merrimack Valley Ultimate – Season 42 of Tuesday Evening Pickup
It’s unanimous, Ashley rocked it last Tuesday like no one else has ever stepped up their game. Ashley made more crowd wooing plays in one night, than in any one of her previous years. Way to go Ashley. Now there are a few other players who we have been waiting to step up their game.
See you on Tuesday, May 17th, at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.
P.S. While in Austin, I bumped into Sam who played with us as an intern. He says “Hi” to all.

I am ashamed of you all. No one came forward pleading to play today, except for Dave, but he wants to play at Seabrook Beach
It is hard to believe I’m saying this, but, it looks like only the slimmest of chances we get to play tomorrow, Tuesday April 26th. The forecast is for cold and wet. By cold, I mean temperatures in the 30s. By wet, I mean it is going to rain during the day, and, may stop by game time! Looks chilling. The smart move is to always keep you gear in your vehicle in case the weather turns in our favor. We can make a final call tomorrow. If you have strong feelings, air them. If you gamble with the lottery, you could see this “4% chance of no rain” as incredibly good odds that we will play!
Bring a food dish and something for your hand (for Poleish Horseshoes).

I checked out the field last week and it is in really good condition.
The grass is matted down so it was like walking on a carpet.
The weather doesn’t look great for this Tuesday but I am hoping we can start playing soon.

All,
It’s been another great season of Ultimate Frisbee, Ultimate, Ultimate Disk, Frizzbee, or whatever it’s being called these days. I’m pretty sure we’ve broken at least one or two records again this year. I apologize for dropping the ball (disk?) on posting pictures. I’ve been working my way through my large collection over the last week or so. I’m hoping to have a bunch of albums posted before Tuesday.
As Bill mentioned, we’ll be hosting the party this year. Feel free to come by anytime after 6:00 Tuesday, October 20th. Families are welcome to join us. I’ll have the BBQ going with burgers, dogs, and chicken. If anyone would prefer veggie burgers or something else let me know or bring them along. Feel free to add to the feast by bringing an appetizer, desert, entree, or other contribution.
I was looking for some directions to my house, but between google maps, mapquest, GPS, and smart phones with GPS, I’ll just provide my address and a link to Google Maps. We’re about 3 miles south of Chelmsford center. Let me know if you have any trouble.
