Party Party Party this Saturday!

Weather permitting, we are on for our Beach Party this Saturday from noon ’till dusk. Come dressed to get wet. We’ll have the usual volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, pole-ish horseshoes, swimming, float rings, kayaks, canoes, trampolines, and zip line. Beaver Brook has plenty of water in it for a beautiful mile paddle. Bring your guitar or other instruments as there will be some music to be made.. even a full organized band will be showing up. Make yourself at home and let’s have some fun!

As for food and drink, we’ll have the grill going with burgers and dogs. We are bottling a fresh batch of beer Friday night and I’ll have some backup regular beer as well as bottled water and sodas, ice, etc. I don’t provide any salads, fruit, or desserts. Feel free to contribute to round out the menu.

We may be short a few chairs, so, having a “soccer” chair in your trunk may be wise. Some like to wear “water shoes” when in ponds. Some like bug spray for the rare flying bug.

Use maps.google.com or your GPS to get to: 52 Chase Road Londonderry, NH
Need more info.. email/call me for details. bill@ankers.org / 603-437-7113 (home) / 603-965-6563 (cell).

Unfortunately, there is a high chance of thunder showers on Saturday (and the forecast is getting worse). If we get rained out, we’ll reschedule for another weekend.

Next game Tuesday, June 18th in Tewksbury

Like last week, we are making a good call.  GAME ON!
Due to all the rain.. bring your bug spray.

See you Tuesday, June 18th at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.

P.S. On your calendar should be these:
Tuesday June 25th: 1st Seabrook Beach game
Friday June 28th: Bottling beer at Incredibrew for the party
Saturday June 29th:  PARTY TIME at Anker’s pond!

RAINOUT TUESDAY JUNE 11th

This is a hard call, since it looks like it won’t start raining until 6:15 or 6:30. Still, it looks rain is unavoidable, and, the temperature is on the cool side. So, with regrets…
No game this Tuesday, June 11th.

See you all next Tuesday, June 18th.

Expect Tewksbury on Tuesday the 11th

The 5-day-ahead forecast is looking worse for Seabrook. The high for Seabrook is expected to be 71. That’s in town.. not at the beach at 6:00 to 8:00 with 11 mph wind. Plus Monday’s rainy with a 40% chance of it spilling into Tuesday. Unless the forecast changes, expect to play at the Tewksbury field on Tuesday the 11th.

Next game, Tuesday, June 4th.

We get a break from the heat with some great running weather. Last week’s mosquito convention should be over, but, I’d come prepared with some bug dope, or, wear some bat scent aftershave/perfume.

By now, your calendar should be marked for the beach party on the 29th of June. Details will be posted in due time. Really, there’s not much in details. Starts at noon. I supply burgers, dogs, some drinks, some chairs, and a pond full of water. If you want, you bring other goodies to eat/drink. Eric has photos in the photo section of previous years’ parties. Rumor has it that Dave has a backup band joining him this year!

Pete’s coordinating beer brewing which will begin on Friday evening the 14th. Let him know if you want to be in on this. Beer will be ready for consumption by party day.

Note: Next Tuesday, the 11th, is our first Seabrook Beach opportunity. The week-ahead forecast shows conditions as iffy.

See you at the Tewksbury field, Tuesday, June 4th, 6:00pm

next game, Tuesday May 21st

It may rain; it may not (watch the radar).
Our shoes may get wet; maybe they won’t (they dry anyway).
It may be sunny; it may not (who cares either way).
There may be bugs; there may not (none last week).
I will have a few great plays; you may not (keep practicing).
You may come to the beach party on June 29th; You may not miss it.

See you Tuesday, May 21st at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.

Mark your calendars for our “Frizzbee & Friends” beach party at our pond.
It’s Saturday June 29th from noon on. More details as we get closer.
Mark Friday nights June 7th and 21st for beer brewing.
Pete will pick out a special hot beach summertime brew recipe.
