It has been a great year, and it is time to take it out in style.
We’ll have the usual feast, alternative disc games, socializing (bring the family), and partying.
We’ll all pitch in and order pizza for the main course. Please bring salads, desserts, etc. to round out the meal. BYOB, too.

This will probably be our last regular game of the season. AND, THE WEATHER LOOKS FANTASTIC!

Next game, Tuesday October 4th at the Tewksbury field at 5:15.
Shortly, the tilt of the earth will overtake us. Until then, we’ll move the start time to 5:15.

There’s a good chance of rain and I will be in sunny warm Austin. If conditions are iffy, someone else will have to give the go/no-go.

Next year will be our 30th year! Yee Haw! It’s time to brainstorm on designs for a 30th year disc. Think now, and come prepared to discuss/present your ideas at the end-of-year party.

The 5:30 start time gave us a good hour and a half of play last week. Let’s do it again.

Last week, we had a fantastic play-of-the-week with a tipped disc leading to a full-stretch layout in the endzone. However, that play’s greatness was shattered by an upside down catch by Brandon. Usually a layout is a layout. Not Brandon’s layout. He launched out higher than the disc, looked down and back to locate the disc, reached down to grab it which he did, finally, he summer-salted into a landing. We were all stunned.

RAINOUT !!!

No game today the 6th of September.  The rain clouds have too few holes in them.  Bummer!

It’s been a great beach summer!  No seaweed, even after the storm.  The earlier sunsets now keep us at the Tewksbury field and have us starting promptly.

High chance of a rainout today !!!!

Last call for layouts into the surf.  Let’s start it earlier, begin at 6:00, since the sun sets officially at 7:22.  The tide will be perfect with a low at 7:07.  Ignore that storm; it will have passed.

What a great beach night last Tuesday!  We proved we are masters of the weather and I don’t think it will ever rain on us for the rest of this year!  The surf was warm which promoted many wet plays.  I had 2 diving (stumbling) catches on the same drive.  Sweet!

Tuesday the 23rd of August is at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.

AS OF 3:30, THE SUN IS SHINING IN NASHUA.  THE RAIN CLOUDS ARE ALMOST ALL DISSOLVED.  WE WILL HAVE A RAINLESS BEACH TO OURSELVES.  WE ARE ON!

Low tide is 8:13. Game time is 6:30. Feast time is 8:30.
It will be running weather at the beach (i.e. a high of 74 degrees). The rain will be moving out, but, some pockets of drizzle may remain. Plan accordingly.
