it looks to me there is less chance of rain than more, and it looks short lived. I’ll be at the field at 6.

Another awesome Beach night last Tuesday. There was quite a wet battle between Sam Naftal and Phil Martin. Sam earned the MVP by winning most of the surf battles which also earned him the most dives and biggest splashes of the night. Further, amidst all of us searching the surf for Phil’s sunglasses, Sam found them!

There’s a lot of rain happening Tuesday. It tapers off as the day goes on. It will be a close call and does not look promising (as of Monday). Look for an update by 4pm Tuesday.

Totally awesome beach night last week. We definitely stared down the storm clouds, and we had 2 fields going, to boot. Impressive turnout amidst threatening weather, or, as Samantha put it, “those clouds look angry”.

This week, it will be “watermelon warm”. That is, we’ll bring the cool watermelon refreshment to temper the heat.

4pm update: The thunderstorms look to be traveling inland. Seabrook Beach is spared! See you there at 6pm.

Awesome party. My thanks to everyone who helped out, brought food, managed the grill, attended to games, etc. Can’t wait for next year!

Summer has arrived and so has our Summer Party!  
Plenty of pond this year (but not like the year when the beach flooded).

Whip up you best side dishes to share (or Market Basket’s or Frito Lay’s).
BYOB.  I have an abundance of water, soft drinks, grill food, and fireworks.
I only have 1 Corn Hole, another would be nice.
Join Dave, Scott, and I with your instruments, or, put on a solo act.  There can be karaoke!
Anyone catching a disc on the zip line wins a limited edition 40th year disc!
Find a couch, a corner, or a tent to sleep in if you wish.  Pancakes and eggs in the morning.

Saturday July 8th is the big Summer Party at Anker’s Pond (52 Chase Rd Londonderry, NH 603-965-6563). As usual, I’ll have burgers, dogs, kolbossa, soft drinks, water, fireworks, etc. Everyone else (that’s you) brings the spread of snacks, salads, desserts, beer, etc. Guitars/instruments are welcome. Sleeping over is welcome. It starts around noon or 1pm, and goes on past fireworks/campfires.
