This week looks more like fall. Less sweat. Fewer mosquitoes.
Kitt earns the catch of the week. He already owned that title with his first endzone layout in the gully by the fire station. It was a beauty with Kitt gliding inches off the the ground to reach out and snag the disc. Later, at the opposite end of the field, the defense was making it difficult to score. Kitt, powered by one of his micro-bursts of acceleration, zipped across the endzone and quickly layed out to save an out of bounds throw. But this was no routine layout and catch. The disc was thrown sharply from near the sideline and it had angled itself to be well out of bounds by the time it crossed the goal line. Kitt had so much speed from his micro-burst, again, his body shot out pencil straight and he layed out inches off the ground. With arms fully outstretched, Kitt had the wherewithal of a seasoned NFL receiver to drag his toes to keep them inbounds as his fingers latched out onto the disc for the score. We were stunned in amazement. I see this one as the catch of the year! Go Kitt!
