Last week’s play of the week was a late evening pass from JJ to Noah. It wasn’t one of those “floater in the endzone” passes that hangs in wait for a superstar to get to it. This was a perfectly arched, half-field long pass beautifully executed to hit Noah deep in the endzone on the parking lot side. Wait, there is no “deep” to the endzone on that side. Noah had a decision to make. Go for it and get swallowed by the pricker laced plants (and slam into the fence), or abort. Noah did neither. He was going full throttle straight towards the fence. He reached up high with both hands and managed to catch it at the bush line. And.. somehow decelerated and stopped upright with his face just a little buried in the bush. I think he might have kissed the bush in gratitude.
