Looks like a seasonal night for May.. cool and a chance of drizzle.
Hats off to those who wrestled the vines away from the fence. What a breeze with so many helping. There is still some stubble by the fence to watch out for. It may be angry.
Last Tuesday was the night of the Bozo. We had 3 players not sign in. Imagine that! Do I need to put a pitcher of Kool Aid on the table, so that you all don’t miss it? Tell you want. This Tuesday, no sign in! Free night! Tell your friends! We’ll resume after I’m back from Austin.
At the end of the night, there are often a few items left on the field. We gather them up and stuff them in the frizzbee/cone bag, so you know where to find your treasures. However, no one wanted to touch a lone glove lying there in its shame. It wasn’t that it stunk, so much as it belonged to one of the “let’s cut down the bush” proponents, who showed up late and missed the fun! Bozo!
However, the Bozo of the week has a clear winner. Those of us with time to socialize and have lousy taste buds, were simply enjoying the show. Others, who didn’t want a 3-hour dinner, or, who wanted to eat what they ordered, unanimously voted the new waiter at the 99, Bozo of the week. I never thought I’d miss Sean.
Enjoy the game, Tuesday, May 9th at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.
