Seabrook Beach, July 3rd at 6:30!

This may be a popular beach night, so, we may have to move up or down the beach to get field space. It should be a popular firework night! The weather looks perfect.

The remaining beach nights will have to shift out to Thursdays or Fridays to match the low tide.

Keep Sunday July 15th marked on your calendar for our “Frizzbee & Friends” Beach Party at our pond.

See you this Tuesday, July 3rd, at Seabrook Beach at 6:30

3 Things

1)  Next game, Tuesday, June 26th in Tewksbury.  It will be cool.

2)  My “Frizzbee & Friends Beach Party” will be Sunday July 15th at our pond!  Mark you calendars.  Here’s Eric’s photos from last year’s party.

3)  The feedback on our 30th year disc is very very tight.  In my point ranking system, there is an 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 4, 4, and 0 points on design #5 (so we can eliminate just design #5).  If we go with design #4 (a strong contender), it will be a 1-color hot stamp.  All others will be full-color prints which some argue are not as good discs as hot-stamps.  LET YOUR PREFERENCES BE KNOWN.  The contenders are on the June 21st blog below.  We want to have a decision by June 3rd at Markey’s.

30th Year Disc Picks

Thanks to Kevin, we have a great selection of designs to  put on our 30th year disc.  Please email bill@ankers.org with what you like, what you don’t like, and/or what could be changed.  We will order either 1-color hot stamp discs, or, a full-color printed discs.  All other options have a minimum 100 disc order which is too many.

Beach Beach Beach Tuesday June 19th

Tides are right, the sun is cooperating, and, the temperature is “summer”.

The game is at Seabrook Beach at 6:30. Directions can be found down in the “About” tab.

Low tide is 6:20, so, our feet will get wet by the end of the night. Then, it is off to feast at Markey’s.

Next game Tuesday, June 12th

I cannot figure out the weather map this week. It is usually mostly green and I can read that. What does it mean with no green? I’m stumped. Let’s play anyway.

See you at the Tewksbury field Tuesday, June 12th at 6:00.

Heads up, the 19th could be our first beach night!

Next game Tuesday, June 5th!!!!!

Hopefully, no rain! But, even if there is, the die-hards will be playing! We won’t have a washout. Wet feet makes happy play.

See you Tuesday, June 5th, at the Tewksbury field at 6:00pm.

Next game, Tuesday May 29th

I just looked up “Tuesday” in wikipedia. It said “the day of rain”. I promptly changed it to read “the day we play ultimate frizzbee ’cause it ain’t gonna rain no more!”

See you Tuesday, May 29th at the Tewksbury field at 6:00. Really, it’s just a chance of a few scattered storms which haven’t formed yet.

BTW, last Tuesday’s radar weather correctly predicted a dry evening (except for our feet).  With 4 of us showing, we christened Jeff’s new Poleish Horseshoe set up.

Again, no game tonight

The glass is about to fill up. Another rainout. That wet mass is moving to the NE.
