With a predicted high of only 61 in Seabrook, the beach is out. We’ll be at Tewsbury through June, as the tides are not cooperating. The low tide times get better as the summer goes on. The weather should get better, too.

We’ll go with “Hot in Tewksbury” over “Cool in Seabrook”. The warm weather brought out a good crowd last Tuesday (until the downpour). Let’s do it again (without the downpour).

Dry warm weather is forecast for Tuesday’s game in Tewksbury at 6:00. I’m giving 20-to-1 odds that we will be able to dodge the “chance of rain”.

I wasn’t counting on the sky gods tactic of changing the predictive weather map every hour.  Really, every time I look, it says “no rain at 6:00”, then “rain at 6:00”, then “no rain from 4:00 on”.  Right now it is saying “Ha Ha RAIN!”.

I don’t see any reason why our luck should change.  Even though the north east is expected to be blanketted by rainclouds on Tuesday, I believe it is just another threat from the sky gods.  Let’s call their bluff again!  Bring your gear and we will reassess around 3 or 4 pm before the game.

We dodged the rain clouds last Tuesday. I say we dodge them again!

We had a great opener.  De-holed some holes.  Filled out some waivers (‘cept Elliot got away).  And celebrated the new season with some “Ultimate” brew!

This Tuesday has the usual springtime chance of rain.  Plan on playing, and, we’ll call it off if it looks like rain at game time.
