Tewksbury on Tuesday, Sept 7th

Summer temperatures are gone with the season. They’ll be less sweat this Tuesday than last. Last Tuesday’s heat did produce a “Greatest” play which went from Biller, to an attempted block by Brian, to a catch by Curt. Sam and Ben had some great catches, too.

See you all in Tewksbury at 6:00.

Tewksbury to close out August on Tuesday the 31st

It’s Tewksbury from here on out.

What a grand finale of a beach night last Thursday! The ocean was actually warm and invited us in. We had the most wet plays of all season and a good number of completed layouts! The surprise of the night was Wally Long showing up after a 10ish year hiatus. He tore up the field with his sprints and was catching and tossing like he just came back from winning at Wildwood.

Special Thursday at Seabrook Beach!

The weather fouled our Tuesday game, so, let’s grab back the fun with a final beach game this Thursday, August 26th. Let’s grab more sun by starting at 6:00! Low tide is at 7:20 follow shortly by low sun.

Tewksbury on Tuesday August 3rd ..plus Browns

I’m on vacation, but you can run your sweaty butts off on Tuesday in Tewksbury, August, 3rd at 6:00. We return to Seabrook on the 10th.

OK, last Tuesday, there was a lot of grumblings at Browns about Browns. Does anyone prefer Browns? Should we avoid Browns? Please add your comments to this posting (there’s a bit of a delay while they get “approved”).

Tewksbury on Tuesday, July 20th

Tuesday, July 20th at Tewksbury, may be a 2 water bottle night.. one to drink, and one for your head. Not to worry, it won’t be as hot as it was on the 6th.

We had a fantastic beach night last Tuesday! Plenty of people, nice temperatures (even in the water), good quality play, and, my favorite, a good number of wet plays. I don’t remember a single successful layout into the surf, but, I do remember many many completions (and many misses, too). The encroching surfing class was awkward. But, the run-by splashing of the camera-moms added to our fun. Heh, heh. Cooperatively, the rain held off until the forecast time. The first drops fell as I was pulling into Markey’s parking lot. I love the moving radar.

See you in Tewksbury, Tuesday July 20th at 6:00.
