Next game, Tewksbury, Tuesday June 14th

Cool night forecast a week ahead of time… read “good running weather”.
Will we be able to top the pinnie team’s play-of-the-night where they earned a standing ovation from the folks on the sideline? As the pinnies worked their way down towards the endzone, the latency between tosses approached zero. At one point, one of the zings went to Deana who didn’t quite hold onto it. The ‘bee sped on and I think it was Matt who reacted quickly and grabbed it. Deana appeared to be clapping at his catch. Thus, when Matt instantly sent it back to Deana, she caught it mid clap, to her surprise. A few more quick zing, zing, zings and the point was scored! The sideline was the best place to be for that drive, and, we all applauded and leaped to our feet.

See you all Tuesday, June 14th at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.

FIELD on Tuesday, June 7th

The weather vane is pointing towards the field where we will have great running weather.

A thorough poll of last week’s players says the “2-team swap after 3 points” is a winner. “3 point games” means you can play hard the whole mini-game.

See you all Tuesday, June 7th at 6:00 at the field

Next game Tuesday, May 17th at the field

It’s unanimous, Ashley rocked it last Tuesday like no one else has ever stepped up their game. Ashley made more crowd wooing plays in one night, than in any one of her previous years. Way to go Ashley. Now there are a few other players who we have been waiting to step up their game.

See you on Tuesday, May 17th, at the Tewksbury field at 6:00.

P.S. While in Austin, I bumped into Sam who played with us as an intern. He says “Hi” to all.

NO GAME TUESDAY APRIL 26th !!!

Bummer. The cold and wet weather wins.

NO GAME TUESDAY APRIL 26th !!!

I am ashamed of you all.  No one came forward pleading to play today, except for Dave, but he wants to play at Seabrook Beach

Winter Disc anyone?

It is hard to believe I’m saying this, but, it looks like only the slimmest of chances we get to play tomorrow, Tuesday April 26th. The forecast is for cold and wet. By cold, I mean temperatures in the 30s. By wet, I mean it is going to rain during the day, and, may stop by game time! Looks chilling. The smart move is to always keep you gear in your vehicle in case the weather turns in our favor. We can make a final call tomorrow. If you have strong feelings, air them. If you gamble with the lottery, you could see this “4% chance of no rain” as incredibly good odds that we will play!

SEASON OPENER PARTY at TINU’s

Bring a food dish and something for your hand (for Poleish Horseshoes).
The weather looks good and the sun will be shining.
The Opener Party is at Tinu’s house in Andover at 5:00 and on.

Here’s the details:

Here are the address/directions and parking info for the beginning-of-season party at my place on Apr 24, 2016.My address is 305 Boston Street, North Andover, MA 01845

The 305 Boston St. address on Google Maps erroneously brings you 200 yards further south of our house on Boston St. This link provides a more accurate location of our house.

https://maps.google.com/maps?q=42.635514,-71.089935&hl=en&num=1&t=m&z=17

Feel free to park on my lawn to the left of the house and in the driveway, in front of the house on Boston St, and if necessary on Old Cart Way which is about 50 yards south on Boston St (take a right out of my driveway and Old Cart Way is on the left). The only place you can’t park is on the driveway directly across the street. It looks like a public road in the dark but is in fact the neighbor’s private driveway.

My cell phone is 978-764-8751 if anybody needs to call me.
